Company/Family Story

A family-owned firm, Adapt8 creates products that add value through efficiency, providing our customers with time, energy and resource savings. It all started somewhat magically, when a tote left on a lawn produced surprisingly green results, spurring seemingly unrelated fields of interest to join in a collaborative effort to develop resilient plastics for numerous uses. From covering greenhouses and protecting saplings to toting harvest produce and industrial items, our products have demonstrated durability and reliability in some of the most extreme conditions.

Adapt8 is the maker of Solexx, a superior greenhouse covering that promotes an efficient and sustainable approach among growers – improving plant growth through highly diffused light, lowering energy costs with superior insulation, and saving time, labor and material costs with resilient products.

We take a green approach ourselves, following environmentally sound practices and working toward qualifying as a B Corp. We believe it’s the best way not only to meet the challenges of the future, but to develop savvy, science-based solutions to overcome them. Adapt8’s innovative products are the result of a focused, scientific approach backed by testing and analysis. But we don’t stop there.

We continually reimagine our products to adapt to the changing needs of the world we live in, and we go the extra mile to find creative solutions for our customers’ problems.
